First connection
The first-run screen connects the application to the public coordinator and asks whether this machine may contribute resources.
Connect
- Start the Mycellios desktop application.
- Keep Public Mycellios network selected.
- Enable Contribute this machine's resources only if this device should accept work.
- Select Enter Mycellios.
The application connects over HTTPS/WSS and opens the same network view used by the public web panel.
Read the status correctly
The interface separates several states:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Connected | The application can reach the coordinator |
| Online | The worker is available to the network |
| Runtime ready | A local execution backend passed its checks |
| Model available | A verified deployment is registered for inference |
| Active | The node is currently part of a real execution route |
Do not treat a green network connection as proof that the GPU is serving a model. Open This machine or Nodes to inspect the execution backend and the stages attributed to this device.
Next steps
- Review how contribution works.
- Learn how the network builds a route.
- If the connection fails, use Troubleshooting.
